Loomsoft is a single manned hobbyist game development endeavor. "Officially" thrown into the public realm in 2001, loomsoft has released a few
fun and entertaining games; the most notable being Zep's Dreamland. Loomsoft began as a Windows only developer, but has since grown to also
release for Linux and Mac OS X.
Most recently loomsoft has been moving toward developing a very minimalistic 2D game development framework for Mac OS X using OpenGL as its
backend.
Loomsoft constists of a single, hardworking (and slightly out of his mind) man: Jay Bernardo. Jay has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science from Northeastern University. All the pieces of work you see here at loomsoft are his brainchildren, completely developed in his
spare time.
Notable collaborations include:
- Johan Peitz (www.freelunchdesign.com)
- Johan was the pixel-master behind Zep's Dreamland, creating almost every bit of eye candy that you see in the game.
He also served as a great person to bounce ideas off of and get some top secret testing done with.
